Happy Monday.

The deadline has passed and all the Public Goatee Humiliation entries have been received. Many, many thanks for all the participants… my morning has been humor-filled already. The decision will, of course, be difficult… and will require the rest of the week to be made correctly. The winner, and their coveted prize, will be announced on Friday.

I had an odd little four lane exchange on my way back from Dunkin Donuts yesterday morning. A young-ish guy in a new-ish Trooper pulls up beside me at a stop light and rolls down his window…

Guy: How many miles you got on that Trooper?

Guy: (Smiling, nodding his head) Sweeeeet.

I smiled for about ten minutes after that. It’s amazing the things that we find community in and bond over… even if those things are sometimes extremely crappy vehicle purchases.
