This interlocking loft from Kyu Sung Woo Architects makes such wonderful use of limited vertical space. It’s featured in this month’s Dwell Magazine. I dig my apartment and all… but I’m a loft-kinda-guy.
Oh to have a loft. Our apartment is 250 square feet. And every time I enter some friend’s high-ceiling apartment, I think of how much more spacious our abode would be “if only”… the NYC housing market is not so kind. However, there is a company here called The Wall People that will build a pressurized wall (with a door, even!) in your apartment for $1k. http://www. thewallpeople.com
this latest issue is a great one, dealing with small spaces and ‘realistic’ budgets.
