Except that the woman/women in that poem aren’t lying (verbally or physically). If it’s anyone, it’s the men. The once-frat boys or the speaker, thinking they can or can’t understand women.
It might be interesting to theorize about the train of thought (that doesn’t exist) the search engine had to hop on to give Joshua’s poem as an answer to the initial question.
If you’ll notice, the lies I think the poem’s men are offering/believing is that they can or can’t understand women. It is possible to understand us. Don’t sell yourself short. But don’t assume you have it down either.
