YouWorkForThem Stock Brushes

YouWorkForThem has stock brushes for Illustrator and Photoshop. I hate Photoshop, but the Illustrator brushes are tasty, tasty. You can download a free sampler set to see what all the fuss is about.

    Hate?

  2. Yeah, I’m hurt (but not really). I do have a license to kill — with Photoshop.

  3. Hate photoshop… hate? Care to elaborate?

  4. More a hatred of it when misused. Photoshop IS NOT a layout program, but almost everyday at work I have to work from someone else’s files that have used it as such. 9 times out of 10, whatever gets built in Photoshop can be built in Illustrator or InDesign (or ImageReady) so much better and more flexible. Plus, I work off a laptop in the office and it takes forever to open files and move layers around… Photoshop wastes more time than it saves me.

That being said, when I need to edit PHOTOS, I find Photoshop to be wonderful.

  5. I figured that was the case, but I was too scared to ask.

I’m with you – for photo editing, effects, stuff like that, photoshop is awesome. But photoshop files should always end up placed somewhere else (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) as part of a greater work…

The new Photoshop Lightroom is awesome for photo editing. My trial is about to expire and almost warrants a purchase.

    Thanks for the new brushes!
