		<description>My wife had to get the requisite &quot;I survived the Hana Highway&quot; t-shirt after we did that drive :-)

When we did it, there was a van, or truck, or something that looked as if it went off the road at one point and was caught in vegetation, just hanging off the side of the drop-off.  Pretty surreal...</description>

		<description>The Road to Hana (from Kahului Airport to Hana) is crazy curvy with copious amounts of one lane bridges, narrow roads, and tourists driving rented convertible Mustangs. It takes awhile, but it&#039;s nice. 

From Kahului to the west side of the island, the drive is a lot like the Pacific Coast Highway, only you&#039;re 10&#039; or so above sea level and right beside the ocean - we drove it at sunset and it was breathtakingly gorgeous.</description>
