To prove that “anyone can take a great picture with the Nikon D-40″ the company GAVE 200 Nikon D-40 cameras to residents of historical Georgetown, South Carolina for the Picturetown site. The photos are an interesting slice of American life (some good, some not so good, but all user-generated.) Kudos to Nikon, as this doesn’t feel forced or inauthentic, and they’re leaving the outcome up to the residents.

And we thought ridiculous, Flash intros were dead – New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. (and a lot of other African American churches) think otherwise. Apparently Sharper FX, the company who did the intro and many more like it, drinks heavily from the 2Advanced Kool-Aid.
Quote, “On May 6, 2007, it was announced that Lost will continue for a fourth, fifth and sixth year, concluding with the 117th produced episode of the series during the 2009–2010 season.
