[...] I decided to organize my bookcase this afternoon, color coding my books after reading Blankenship’s post (fun idea, try it). What started out as a casual, yet borderline OCD, activity quickly turned into a two hour treasure hunt/trip down memory lane when I discovered a key I thought was lost in the move. The key, housed inside a hollowed out Treasure Island book belongs to my firesafe which holds the remains of my once large collection of sports trading cards. I quickly hastily searched the garage, found the safe and cracked it open. [...]

1. Having my current employer counter offer with a raise and promotion based on what I was gonna get from a new job I had lined up
2. Seeing Wicked with the wife and really enjoying the set design and the show it self
3. Finding out it was actually going to rain in LA today
4. The new Thai spot I took a chance on, Sunset Thai on Sunset & Gardner
5. The realization that 'if you can imagine it, it will come true' does hold some weight

1. Having my father drive the three and a half hours that separate us on a whim to spend the weekend with me
2. spending hours upon hours in the darkroom to realize that the last print you have time for before you fall over, dead asleep just so happens to be the best print you've ever made
3. Actually enjoying writing a paper on a German philosopher dead over 50 years
4. Getting 6 hours of sleep last night (as opposed to my normal 4)
5. Sitting in my 200 level typography class and seeing work from PNFF, and thinking, "I know that guy!"
