My 3-year-old nephew Bear is fairly obsessed with all things airplane/air travel lately. We got him a kid-sized AmericanAirlines pilot hat. Pictures to follow.
I desperately hope that someone got me a good pocketknife to replace my Gerber AUS-6, which somehow disappeared from my checked luggage in mid-flight during the Thanksgiving holidays.

My cousin is a huge 6′5″ captain in the Army, ranger, westpoint, everything. But he’s super awkward. He’ll be unwrapping a red men’s thong tonight when the extended family gets together for Christmas eve.
And HOPEFULLY, I’ll be getting, Bach - Solo Violin Sonatas & Partitas, by Eugene Drucker. Some of the best violin solos played by the principal violinist of The Emerson and Juiliard on his Strad.

Jaimes has wanted a “pigeer” (computer) for-ev-er. She also loves anything pink. We found a pink toy computer at target and stuck and apple sticker on it. I can’t wait for her to open it.

I picked up a Mont Blanc fountain pen for my pops. Fountain pens are his writing tool of choice and I’ve been wanting to give him a Mont Blanc for awhile…up until this year I haven’t be able to muscle up the funds.
I have my fingers crossed for a Canon SD1000.

I bought a goat for a Gospel For Asia family in honor of my friend Ester… it’s the goat that keeps on giving.
My family isn’t big on gifts, so I already know both of the things I’m getting. One is the $100 bill my parents will give me, and the other will be the gift from my sister, who drew my name. She’s getting me a hardcase for my new GPS system so that I can travel with it! Yay!

We got my dad a new TV, a nice 32″ widescreen LCD HDTV, to replace his old twenty-something inch mid-nineties tube TV. The old TV is so blurry that text is neigh unreadable, the scrolling tickers on the bottom of news sites are completely unreadable, and only the center of the screen has any clarity whatsoever. Probably terrible for anyones eyes who watches it.
I’ve got my hopes up for a new digital SLR.

This year we exchanged names (within our immediate circus family); but we still got a few extra things for the kids — that’s all I ever care about, is experiencing Christmas through the kids eyes, so much more enjoyable and energetic (except when we give them something they don’t like — they’re still not quite at the polite “that’s great” lie we adults have gotten good at). I’m excited to give Sonya a nice cross necklace she’s wanted from James Avery.
I hope I get to sleep in …

I got my daughter all of the Yo Gabba Gabba dolls from Kid Robot. She loves that show and I can’t wait to see her reaction when her TV friends are actually in her hands.
I also got a certain friend a Members Only jacket and can’t wait for the reaction to it once he gets it in the mail.
I don’t care what I get tomorrow, but am always looking forward to seeing what my wife thinks I like!
