I noticed a tweet of yours that said you will be working Sundays (and not Fridays). Do you do design work on Sundays for NewSpring, just like any other work day?

Nathaniel, yes. Basically. Most of our staff have specific tasks on Sunday (like, say, speaking and singing and volunteer coordinating, etc.) For those of us who don’t have specific tasks, we try to treat it like a normal office day.
That being said, having an uninterrupted work day on Sunday is slightly difficult in the Communications Dept. Our office is upstairs, behind the stage, and the walls shake with the thunder of rock n’ roll for at least half the day.

NewSpring Church is 8 years old today.
I started work here (again) a few weeks ago and it’s feeling less and less odd to be here everyday, and more and more fitting and awesome. In this, our ninth year, I have a number of large-ish projects (both conceptually and from a scale standpoint) on my plate, as well as incalculable smaller things to do. Hopefully some of it will start rolling out into the public eye before summer.
It’s going to be a good year.
