TED Talk demonstration of Photosynth, an acquired project from Microsoft that allows users to zoom, magnify, arrange, and organize photos (and other media like text, ads, full novels, etc.) in multiple, intuitive user interfaces. Pretty incredible stuff.

Wow, that looks extremely awesome. I’m interested to see how the final project turns out for Microsoft.
I also wonder what kind of processing power is needed here. It seems like it would take a pretty demanding system to do all that.
