The featured Google App Engine application is HuddleChat. I think I liked it better when it was called Campfire. Of course group IM-ing isn’t exactly a new idea, but HC even looks like Campfire, only with less features (if you can imagine something out-less-ing a 37signals app.)

The cool thing about it — it’s an opensource project. And it’s trying to add some social networking aspects on top of the group chat, interesting combination.
