I get 99% of my design, layout, and typographic inspiration from magazines. I find them infinitely more interesting than most web galleries and such. I’d really love to hear from you, faithful readers, as to which magazines lead you on the path of art direction enlightenment. I have a magazine budget, and I want to be wowed every month.

I agree completely about Dwell. That magazine used to be top notch. Not it’s Cosmo for people who watch “Flip This House” on TLC. Very sad.
You wouldn’t be able to tell from their website… but I’m liking Sports Illustrated’s main serif typeface they use in their magazine.
Relevant magazine has frequently impressed me.
