Those are horrible movies…. If you’ve seen it, then I would recommend Dark Water (2005) with Jennifer Connelly be added to that list. It was 105 minutes of pain and suffering, not for the characters, but for me.
In years of following and respecting and honoring and generally having my mind blown by you Mr. Blankenship, I have almost never doubted or questioned you.
However, The Neverending Story is an amazing movie.
Dogville (this was realllly bad)
Revolver (do not rent this, its a piece of crap)
Baby Geniuses
10000 B.C. (The trailer looks good, but alas, its not)
Hide and Seek (Worst Deniro movie ever)
Ha! Tom and I watched your copy of The Neverending Story the other week…so cheesy. But, it holds a special place in my heart because of my childhood adoration of Falcor.
And for the guy who said “The Boondock Saints” and “The Sixth Sense” - blasphemy. I detect bitterness.
Dogville is one of the Lars Von Trier films I have yet to see.
Chris, I’ll give you everything but Boondock Saints. That is the WORST film in modern movie history. Horrible. Horrible acting, directing, plot, execution, effects, accents, and soundtrack. I seriously hate that movie. I don’t know how people can’t tell the difference between a movie like that and an actual well executed movie in the same vein, Reservoir Dogs.

So did you subject yourself to #1 or #2 of Never ending Sotry first? And why did you decide to watch the other one :)

At least have room for The Hulk (circa 2003) on there… perhaps as a honorable mention? That was by far the worst movie I have ever seen…

@brent - 1 first, years and years ago. Then both, in one sitting, a few weeks back.
@Evan - some movies I just avoid, knowing they will lack merit. The Hulk was one such film. Ang Lee does not a superhero movie make.

the 5 movies I disagree with MA Turner on:
1. The Boondock Saints
2. The Last Samurai
3. Transformers
4. V for Vendetta
5. The Sixth Sense
Now don’t get me wrong, Transformers in particular wasn’t a “good” movie, but it was very entertaining and everything we expected it to be.

Neverending Story?! What?!!!
That movie was awesome!
I can see how it would suck if the first time you watched it was when you were in your 30’s, but as a child, I loved it.
Part 2…eh. yeah, I can agree on that one.
