Now there’s the loss of a truly great actor. Dang.
I was quite sad when I found out today. A great actor, and a great philanthropist – his Newman’s Own brand has donated more than $250million to charities; and married to the same woman for 40 years, in Hollywood that’s a miracle.
One of my favorite actors (if not my favorite). I was truly saddened by this. I went to the grocery store for the weekly essentials and bought a healthy supply of his pleasantly pungent pasta sauce. Seriously. I want to trick myself into thinking I am pulling a Keith Richards – every time I take a bite of my prepared pasta I’ll imagine his ashes are therein and I will somehow obtain some of his charisma, magic, and longevity.
“Taking it off here, boss.”
“Take it off there, Luke.”
