Two Planets for the Price of One

If you’re on the East Coast, you can see Venus and Jupiter in the evening sky these days. It admittedly took me awhile to wrap my head around how that’s possible, considering Earth is “in between” Venus and Jupiter, but I’m all better now.

  1. I noticed this while driving monday night. I did wonder however what the two “stars” were because they were much brighter than anything else (and anything “normally” in the VA night sky). I found this about it: http://blog.wired.com/wiredscience/2008/12/tonight-planets.html
