Forget Resolutions, Let’s Talk About Reachable Goals

Tue 12/30/08

I want to finish and release two (most likely self-published) books, get posters/prints/t-shirts selling, help my wife launch a viable online store/brand for her awesome craftiness, fully implement the new identity for my sister’s business, and add at least one amazing web developer (if not two) to our team here at NewSpring so we can do some seriously great stuff.

And lose 20 pounds, of course.

What do you want to do in 2009 that you can actually execute?

  1. Great perspective. Early 2009 goal: actually launch a release version my long-delayed web app. Complete several other web app projects that I’m partnering with people on. Find an outlet for selling some of my photography, just for fun. Get an office (or at least rent a desk at a company with an office). Travel more.

  2. First off, I look forward to the books.

    1. Find a decent avenue to start profiting from some illustration work.
    2. Hang up certain unhealthy vices.
    3. Procreate (shhhh)
    4. Think less of myself and more of others.
    5. Work smarter – not harder.
