Coming from someone who mostly a follower rather than one “to be or is followed,” I totally agree. My feelings aren’t hurt that most don’t follow me back… Maybe I don’t have anything to interest them; but that doesn’t mean they don’t have anything to offer my own interests and curiosity.

It’s like getting mad that the local newspaper doesn’t subscribe to your family christmas letter.

so good! Its funny because I was just at an event last week for agencies & publishers and there were several sessions on the “power of social media”. Though one guy who was speaking on a panel totally lost his cred when he said he didnt have a twitter, facebook account, etc.

Im really excited to see how this is all going to morph..

Amen. (And said much more nicely than what I was working on, which was something akin to, well, if we didn’t really like each other enough to stay in touch, then Twitter and Facebook aren’t going to help.)
