Lookwork — Image Bookmarking

Lookwork, a soon-to-launch image-bookmarking service, looks quite nice from the teaser video. After all, if my beloved Ffffound! had tags and decent naughty picture filtering it would be dang near perfect for curating/collecting aesthetic.

I’m with you on the naughty picture filtering. I choose not to use Ffffound although I really love their service because I can’t browse it without getting an accidental eye-full of nudity. Typically artistic nudity, but nudity non-the-less. NSFW as they say.

I use ImageSpark very happily, it’s a nice small community with a dead easy Firefox plugin. http://www.imgspark.com/image/listing/bimmy/ Love it!
Lookwork looks like it has some good features in it. Interesting to see so many of these similar tools popping up lately, I wonder which ones will grow and which (if any) will die off?

I gave ImageSpark a good try for a few weeks—it’s pretty but the combo of it and Firefox was a gigantic memory hog, which made me sad.
