del.icio.us.ness?

Help me out here. Someone who uses the internet on a regular basis give me some reasons why I should give del.icio.us a try. I’ve heard good things, but i’m not sold yet. (Probably mainly because it’s sort of ugly. I’m completely shallow like that.)
