Red King Crabs Invade Europe

Quote, “…50 yards down, is a trap that may, or may not, have king crabs in it. And those crabs may, or may not, try to remove my fingers when they get to the surface.” Red King Crabs, which grow up to 6ft across and have no natural predators, are appearing in Norway (and headed towards Europe at the rate of 30 miles a year) by the millions. Each female produces about 500,000 eggs a year, 10,000 of which survive. I, for one, welcome our King Crab overlords.
